Payment Policy

Please read these payment policies carefully before using Our Service.
1.1 General Terms
All payments for therapy sessions, workshops, or related services offered through Elfina Health (“Elfina”) must be made through the official payment link shared by Elfina. Payments made directly to a therapist or any other channel outside Elfina’s authorized system will not be considered valid.
1.2. Session Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after full payment is received.
If payment is not made on the same day as slot confirmation, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
1.3. Payment Methods
Payments are accepted through Elfina’s authorized payment gateway links.
For international clients, applicable conversion rates and transaction charges are borne by the client at the time of payment.
1.4. Platform Fee
A platform fee is applicable on every session in addition to the therapist’s fee.
The fee slab is determined as follows:
₹49 per session if the therapist’s fee is below ₹2,000
₹99 per session if the therapist’s fee is ₹2,000 or above
(both inclusive of 18% GST)
This platform fee applies to all bookings, including recurring sessions. Referral discounts apply only to the therapist fee and not to the platform fee.
1.5. Recurring Sessions
For recurring weekly or bi-weekly sessions, payment must be completed at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled session. Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation of the upcoming slot.
1.6. International Payments
For clients residing outside India, higher platform fees and processing charges may apply to account for currency conversion, international gateway charges, and applicable taxes.

Your session slot is confirmed once your payment goes through. Please make sure to complete it at the time of booking — all payments should be made through the Elfina payment link only. Please don't pay your therapist directly.
If you need a time slot outside the regular schedule, just let us know and we'll send you a custom payment link. Please complete it within 24 hours, or the slot will be released.
2. Platform Fee
A small platform fee is charged per session, alongside the therapist fee:
Therapist fee under Rs. 2,000: Rs. 49 per session (includes 18% GST)
Therapist fee Rs. 2,000 or above: Rs. 99 per session (includes 18% GST)
This applies to every booking, including recurring sessions. The platform fee is non-refundable. Discounts, when available, apply only to the therapist fee — the platform fee stays the same.
3. Rescheduling & Cancellation
You can reschedule using the link in your booking confirmation, or by dropping us a message in your WhatsApp group. Please note that requests sent directly to your therapist or outside the group won't be counted as valid.
More than 24 hours before the session — no charge
You can move to a new time and your session simply shifts over. If you'd prefer to cancel instead, the full therapist fee goes straight to your Elfina Wallet to use whenever you're ready. The platform fee is non-refundable.
Within 24 hours — 50% late fee applies
You can still reschedule or cancel, but a 50% late fee will be charged on the therapist fee. The remaining balance will be added to your Elfina Wallet. The platform fee is non-refundable.
4. No-Shows & Late Entry
Please try to join the call on time. The session end time won't be extended if you're late, as the therapist may have another session.
If you're running late, send us a message in the group. We get that things come up.
The therapist will wait on the call for up to 15 minutes. If you haven't informed us or joined by then, it'll be treated as a no-show, and the full fee will be charged.
If you join within 15 minutes (or let us know you're on your way), the session will continue for the remaining time.
After 30 minutes, the therapist may not conduct the session at all.
5. Therapist Cancellations
If your therapist has to cancel for any reason, we'll let you know as soon as we can. You won't be charged anything — your full payment (including the platform fee) will be returned to your Elfina Wallet, and we'll work with you to find a new time. If you'd rather have a refund, that's completely fine too.
6. Discounts
Discounts are applied to your booking automatically — there's no code to enter. They come off the therapist fee only, not the platform fee.

Referral discount: 10% off
Companion app discount: 10% off
7. Your Elfina Wallet
Think of your wallet as a credit balance we hold for you. It's the easiest way to pay for sessions, especially when amounts get credited back after a reschedule or cancellation.
Your wallet balance is applied at checkout automatically. You can pay fully from the wallet, or split it with a card or UPI.
Whenever you reschedule or cancel with enough notice, the amount comes right back into your wallet. It never expires, so there's no rush to use it.
Any discounts you have will apply to wallet bookings too.
8. Refunds
If you'd like a cash refund instead of wallet credit at any point, just drop a message in your WhatsApp group. We'll process it within 7 business days.
9. Invoices & Receipts
You'll receive an automated receipt after every payment. A formal tax invoice is issued after each completed session — it includes a platform fee invoice from Elfina Health (Mindaro Health Technologies, GSTIN: 29AASCM5837A1Z5) and a therapist receipt issued on behalf of your therapist.
10. Questions & Support
Your TEM (Therapy Experience Manager) is always your first point of contact for anything you need. You'll find her email in the calendar invite from your matching call, or you can reach the team at tems@elfinahealth.com.
